On December 5, 2007 ShopNBC launched its first-ever 12 Days of ShopNBC video email campaign, and early statistics indicate impressive open rates.
The 12 Days of ShopNBC email marketing campaign contains a string of 12 consecutive promotional email offers. ShopNBC customers will receive an email featuring a video link with one of ShopNBC's on-air hosts presenting a special offer to the customer. Each offer is only valid the day of the email, and with the use of a special technology it will only trigger the next day's email if the previous day's email was open. At the end of 12 days, a bonus offer will be sent to customers who have opened all 12 days of emails.
